I love 309s, would prefer an original goodwood though mmmm

There used to be a Dimma shop in the trafford centre, had a couple of different promo cars sat just outside the store over the time it was there, i used to love going to the TC just for that shop  and the classic merc that was shown somewhere else inside the centre

309 Dimma has a E30 M3ness to it. Nice either way though. Those R5s are nice to.

i have to say that i don't agree with the all aboard the euro band wagon but at the same time i dont agree with the snobbery that comes with the VW scene!

That's awesome! Have you not still got it?

That's awesome! Have you not still got it?

i have but it looks different now and its going on sat to be replaced by a 6n2 gti :)

saw your clio at Trax last year when i went up with the cliosport troop up on there stand. looked tip top!

Thats a nice Clit indeed :nod:8-)

Holy Shit thats 5 pages and 15 minutes il never get back.

Heartagram is right in one aspect as are some others, but people outside of VW do think some (like a few people who had mag shoots there car is the best everyone elses is shit) are nice people and think their car or badge is better than everyone elses. I love VW but eversince I've changed to another manufacturer, theres so much more snobbery around the DUB scene.

Just glad BMW hasent been bought into this

I love VWs and i always will. I have had 4 cars and they have all been VWs. I think VAG is better than any other manufacturer. Vw has been the best since the original gti ( which i currently have )

I have nothing against most other manufacturers. My mate has a clio 182 which is fast and good looking, but for some reason i could not imagine myself owning one.

Euro style did start with the german cars and the french cars have now caught on. I have nothing against this, infact i think its a good thing and i can appreciate some of the french cars.

But to me, VW is best, and I'm not afraid to say it.

My brother inlaw would say the same about Ford

at the end of the day, its all about the game, and how you play this game, of which we are playing.

Us VW folk lead the way.

Dam right

OEM+ is definatly going to make it bigger over the next few years me thinks.

I see a very nice, yet decked ibiza almost everyday, looks almost standard but with little changes.....ohhhhh keep forgetting thats mine :p

I did the whole decked 16v thing (really wish i still had it) but theres something understated about Seat and Audi.

Almost as though people dont expect them to be modified as they're less common, which is what I like espec paired with some subtle mods.

I think putting your car in a 'class' is just plain stupid, it doesnt make sense to me :? if there was actually a rule book with guidelines of what defines each 'look' and people modified their cars that way then i guess its safe to say you've followed a look

but who would be there to set and implement those 'rules'??? NOBODY, not us (the vw lot), not the ford lot, not the jap lot or the US lot

people have elements of everything put into their cars, 'euro smooth' people sometimes throw a vent in somewhere, abit of carbon fibre here and there. nowadays everybody says 'wide' isn't euro anymore, its all about tuck...excuse me?? who told them?? theres nothing that defines how euro is now or before, so shut your mouth in saying 'i'm euro and scene and have more width and lows than you'

a cars a car, a mods a mod, your look is your look and thats the way it should be

cliofrontbefore.jpg

take this clio for example (which is very nice imo)

what 'look' is that?? its fairly standard apart from a nice drop, some nicely fitting wheels, front number plate removed and a splitter, probs abit of colour coding

i guarantee you most people would say oh yeah its euro because it haz lowz...but its not...isit? danno

this guy is right, I'm not sayin u have 2, but people can mod there cars in anyway they like, without the car gettin abused, my car has some team dynamics on it and its FINALLY lowered and i love it, its simple and subtle, u get these people drivin round in supras and skylines, and they are just over the top modded, i dont like that but i dont make obscene comments..... do your own car in your own way, take ideas from others and respect other peoples ways

i for one hate copy cat's , I've had a decked clio pull up next to me on wolfrace wheels , black badges and thats about it , he goes " my cars more euro than yours"

fcuk off  VW made the euro scene , anything else euro'd aint right

I'm all for OEM+ now though , low on a nice set of rim's , standard bodywork - perfect 8-)

Wolf race rims on a euro car? Chances are the guy was a faggot. I wouldent bother going down town on a wednesday anymore :p lol

Nout wrong with having those wheels on a french car

I saw something really cool today, what i think was a old civic running castallets (sp) decked and it had a uber cool Thule roofrack with a Thule spoiler thing. It looked bloody awesome! Even jap is going euro now  but it worked.
