Torque, How useable the power is etc. The AFH may well have a better peak power than a ABD/GT, but its no good having it all at the high end.

lol decent car max i can see lots of effort has gone in and i used to rock an MH and 32/34 DMTL in my mk2.

i used to love 8v's until i saw the light and bought a 16v and now there is no looking back the buzz from 3k is so addictive but nice to see my AFH comment on B-shaw's thread has become famous lol.

Took her out for a spin last night, couldnt shake the grin off my face after, Feels so good to be driving her again,

The engine pulls amazingly for what it is, sounds awsome aswell, few idle problems but hopefully ill be able to sort them,

brakes were terrible however, bled them the other night , got the pedal nice and stiff, but even so there is next to none braking, might be down to the fact the pads and disks are brand new, hopefully.

You can actually use quite a lot from your exisiting engine, cooling system and alternator etc.

Well, Salty and robbo were supposed to be brining down salty's loaned arch roller to get busy on my arches :-D

However it didn't get delivered today (well so he says ) so i had to keep myself busy with something else

As all the work being carried out on the car at the moment is to get it through its MOT , and pretty much everything is done, i didn't have much to do.

Sooo, I though why not crack on with rebuilding my other engine, she's a 90,000 mile ABD :-D ,

Inlet.....working over tomorrow and doing it, ill give that and the rocker to salty thursday night so he can get them posted out to you.

G60s......I'm going down to look at the car I'm possibly swapping with on sunday so ill need them for then as i wont be getting rid of the wellers. If i dont do the swap you can have them.

Your coupe.....Looks sick, i think you should get some tornado red in a can and some, some primer and some laquer and we will sort out that laquer peel.

My coupe......NEEEEED to do some work on it, its getting neglected.

Also, Been thinking about the deal you offered me on the coupe. If you swap your valver for that GT then theres not much point in you having the coupe? If you can sell the AFH, i might be interested in a swap for the coupe shell, the money you get from the AFH and them g60's :-D

Stripped the head down yesterday, ready for a super clean, skim and rebuild.

The valves were hella loppy, covered in carbon, suprised they actually shut lol

The ports on the other hand are gleaming! , even the exhaust ports are only covered in a light coating of soot. Kinda shows how lean they run on their SPI system as standard.

Id mill the 2 bosses off for the boost return pipes, fill the hole in and re-paint it, would look well smart then!
