The manual your looking at may not go as early as the solid lifter engines simon?

Anyway, less chit chat.

It does and I have mk1 manual too. Hmmm. Anyway, as you say, SHUT UP!

Ill send you all the links etc, where i got the best parts for the least money 8-)

Did you find the manual mate?

Ooh, can i have links too please max.

Did you mean seats or seals? Are you going with bigger valves?

Seats, new guides means you HAVE to re cut the seats. Otherwise they may no longer be concentric with each other.

£75 the work though, not too bad.

Need to work on the inlet manifold aswell, and buy the cam!

Re-cut? I get you. I thought you meant getting new seats installed

As can be seen, the port flows from the oval shape of the head, into round 8-)

Thats sweet as! you'd mad a shit ton of money making those for people with bike carbs! I'd buy a set :)

They're piss easy to make tbh, that took me about 20mins, 10mins of that was programming! the fact that the cross section changes shape through a distance of 20.5mm was the only tricky bit.

They wouldn't be cheap though!

I'm going to be makin my itbs manifold that way Out of solid so much better looking and stronger ;)

How much isn't cheap?

It does look great mate guessing your making 4 individual ones yeah

How much does it stick out and the carbs will be bolting straight to it yeah

26mm the boss protrudes out,

Yeah theyll be 4 obviously, and the carbs will be joined using reinforced flexi tubing, simular to what mikey used...

You're so gay! That looks lush. Why not get some bike carb rubbers and machine a groove into the boss? The bike rubbers are immens, hold mine rock solid. Or are you going to use the tube to extend the mani too? That lenghth ought to be good for low end grunt

Do you mean high end?

Nah, not gonna be using the rubbers, you'll see!

They will be extended though.

These are juat to get the port matching done properly...
