argh haha i keep thinkin beige aswell but then i change my mind to black or white haha i really cant make up my bastid mind lol

changeeeeeeees today lol

met up with a very nice fella from another vw site and i swapped my wheels with him

i now come complete with some 14" g60 steels with streched tyres haha they look great and my cups looked far better on his 6n lol

also my acceleration is awsome now and it turns spot on ahah also i can now do what i wanted to do........................drop it on its anus lol

will get pics tomorrow as forgot to take pics in the light lol

its now got the black trim from the pillar removed,

14" g60 steels,

all original bits n bobs inside :)

just need the door n shit from that other polo lol

wing needs a few more coats o paint 1st dude,

and the bonnet and then on with..............the welding haha

and yeah well the wing has got a nice base now so we both need to get some flash red *rolleyes* haha and try n hey get some fairly fine sand paper and rub the bonnet down, but not all the way down all over so the red comes back through in places and lacquer the fuck out of it haha and d.w bout the welding ill give you a hand with it if need be

i heard from the guy i swapped it with that he crashed the civic in the snow,

hes put bonnet pins on,

highered it abit and made a complete straight through haha

but iv always been into vw's so i just didnt feel right in the civic, when i put it up for swaps i kept gettin offers for mk3 golfs and 6n polos even the 1.4 16v polo but all too new for my liking i wanted old and vw haha

now ill probs get loads of abuse from here cos I'm not into 6n's and the like but I'm sorry old is what I'm into i dont like reliability,

practicality,

easy to driveness haha

iv got a mk2 lhd gt coupe at the mo, it bloody awsome, well i think it is anyway.

iv just lowered it 80mm shocks and springs for £130 new. well worth it, although i have to watch for bumps and holes more now than ever before.

do you have any issues with your instrument cluster?? mainly the rev counter and warning lights turning off when it wants to. i dunno if i wanna strip it down yet. need more info first. it may not even be IC related.

i like what you have done so far. i will be posting pics soon of mine, how easy was it to remove side bump strips (door protectors) and fill in the holes??

erm nah i cant say i have had any problems with my dash aside from the temp guage but iv now found out that the thermostats fudged haha,

nice nice i want to lower mine as low as physically possible lol,

good man i want to see some pics dude,

haha dude it was probably the easiest thing in the world for a start no holes

its just like gum tape crap, just peel em off, heat the left overness with a hairdryer or summit and use some like warm soapy water or summit then a sharp knife.......be careful of the paint but it is easily do able without damagin the paintwork,
