I am in need of a distributor so I can finish the engine swap on my MK2 Golf. I am looking for the distributor that is vacuum advanced and will fit the 1.8 16v engine. I am in the US and finding the Dizzy is IMPOSSIBLE.

From what I can determine the Bosch part # is 0 230 186 042. I think the distributor came on the pre-1984 carbed 1.1L?

This is the only pic I could find the was decent. The cap is the Fiat/Peugeot 90 degree cap for clearance, which I have already ordered.

I've got one, but I'm unsure about it ftting a KR.

My housemate is in the states in nine days though.

one just went on ebay for £7.50, the one he mentions iirc is the points dizzy that does fit the KR lump.
