harley_steel 6n FOR SALE

Featured Replies

So I recently bought my first polo back at the start of january after my brother wrote off my previous car!
After looking for a good few months finally found a bit of a steal compared to the rest of the rubbish that was about

got a 1998 1.4 16v with only 37000 on the clock and hardly a mark on it

As good as it looks I'm not one to have a stock car so got some parts in quickly and now its looking like this

So far its had
debadged grill
debadged rear
german dayline headlights
LED rear lights (although they look abit too "lexus" for my liking so will be tinted, they look great in the dark though)
TA technics (not on for rear photo)

future plans include
15" schmidt modernlines with 165/50s
smoothed front bumper
6n2 boot lid (maybe dehandled)
number plate relocation front and rear
and many more!

not gettin to work on it as often as i would like being at uni and its a joint owned car so my brother gets to drive it at home (bad times)
but hopefully will get a lot done over easter biggrin.gif

Not a fan of those read lights, but seems you got it covered! love it.

very nice bud, lights arent to my taste but aslong as you like them :)

does a 6n2 boot lid fit straight on? or needs work?

Yer I realise the lights wont b to a lot of peoples taste on here just wanted to be a bit different and add me own twist on the usual polos you see.

I had a similar style of light on my clio and they were great but yer not 100% happy with the look of these so going to do a bit of work on them!

and yer from what I have read about on here the 6n2 lid is a straight swap the bottom of it doesnt line up in the same way as the original but apparently it looks fine

Looks nice and clean matey, how much you "steal" it for? Thought about the 6n2 bonnet, so will be keeping a keen eye on this thread.

Maybe try an all black rear to go with the front :p

yer I'm thinking that i just like how the lights look in the dark too much to let them go!

Staggered Schmidt TH lines 14" 8J and 9J with 195/45

staggerd 14"s

just thought id do a quick update and put a pic up of sat down and the last time it will be on stock shoes for a while!

after a lot of internet searching got myself some brand new Schmidt TH lines for £750 which i was pretty damn happy with as they are 3 piece 14" 8J and 9J. Only trouble is they are stuck in germany but should have them back soon either one at a time or a lengthy road trip!
