Should be alright with 165/50s and an arch roll. If the offset isn't too extreme they'll be fine, but if they stick out a bit, or tuck in too much, they could scrub.

ok so i would have to have arch work ??would it be better trying to get some 13'' rims or 14''????

any more help people i just hope i haven lowered my self to low for any thing bigger than a 14 '' rim

would a g60 steely fit on ok ????

g60s are 15" but i think people get them on alright. if your worried about srubbing id get some 14s or 13s though

You'll be lucky without arch work if you're that low

As said though, if you're worried then go for 14's, 15's generally look too big for mk3s anyway...

what width do u think i could go to (again without arch work)

as I'm now looking at getting a set of ats classics ,but could i get away with the 7''-8'' combo or would people advise to stick to just 7'' ,and what tire size would i need please as rim style dont sell with tyers any more ?? he said 175 50 13 on front and 195 45 13 rear if i do the 7-8 combo??

You wont get 8's under the rear without arch work mate :)

All depends on the offset aswell though

so a set of ats classics with a 175 50 13 tyer with a 7'' wide will fit lol (rim style say there a 20 et )

i am sorry for being thick i just dont wanna by some thing that wont fit ,

can some 1 please put a pic up of a car with a 80 front 60/80 rear drop please as I'm now thinking i have gone way to low with out thinking it through propely ,as i might be able to change my order to only 60 front

Why are you so against arch work? If you want to put wider wheels on that standard its not just a case of you can put them on and it will be fine. You need to roll the arches to make them fit and you need the correct tyre sizes and offsets.

If your not sure what your doing just stick with something like G60 steels with 165/50/15 tyres as they are much narrower and require less work to get onto the car without scrubbing.

I'm not againsed arch rolling i have just hured it can be a big job and possably need repainting ,but if they only need rolling do i need to repaint
