Pretty standard silver / '51' reg / 5 door / 99k with full service history - no expense spared from me, looked after by VW, what it needed it got - last 25k have been motorway

Factory heated leather / xenons / climate / heated washer jets / ABS / EBD / recent new genuine VW overmats

Pioneer AVIC D3 touch screen Sat Nav 6" screen plays DVD's (handbrake overridden) complete with Ipod connector in glove box (charges Ipod - controlled from head unit) and integrated bluetooth handsfree phone kit - mic in roof / output thru speakers

Pioneer GM-3200T amp in boot

Pioneer CDX-P25 6 stack CD changer in boot

Boot mounted centurion region free DVD player with remote

Veba screens built into head rests

Internal mounted TV aerial - still in box / not fitted

Uprated speakers

Genuine VW 16" split rim bbs alloys - excellent condition and tyres have plenty of life left

Recent drilled and grooved discs and pads all round

Janspeed exhaust - nice, not loud

nippy economical car / 130mph+ and can easily get over 40mpg without driving like a vicar comes with 12 months MOT and 5 months TAX

I have spent around £3.5k on this car in the past 4 months (receipts to prove) - under the bodywork there is nothing wrong with it.

Some recent Work carried out by VW includes:

- New genuine VW Polo GTi suspension all round (springs/shocks/mounts/full balance the lot)

- New Lambda probe

- New headlights (the auto adjust wasn't working properly)

- Gearbox oil just changed

- Recent throttle body clean

- Recent plugs and GTi HT leads

- Recent new ABS sensors

- New fuse box

- New front splitter

- Loads of other bits replaced as well such as selector seal, wishbones, drive shaft gaitors, CV joints, and so on

*** ALL CARRIED OUT BY VW MAIN DEALER, WHICH CARRIES 2 YEAR PARTS/LABOUR AT ANY VW DEALER ***

*** NO EXPENSE SPARED ***

*** ALWAYS RUN ON HIGH GRADE FUEL ***

Gearbox was refurbed at 70k - mostly motorway driving since

Will also include v-maxx suspension that was removed from car and a spare PAS pump I have.

This car runs exactly as it should, picks up from 30mph in 5th with no flat spots (a common problem)

Now the not so good bits....

* HPI clear but the car has had a minor front impact at some point (before I purchased) so doesn't have a genuine GTi front bumper but you can source

these if you are quick enough on ebay - so it is missing the headlight washers - but has GTi splitter.

* The body work isn't perfect, needs a little TLC, it has a few age related stone dings, a small dent on bonnet (not a result of the front ding).

* It has had a scrape over rear arch at some point which was poorly sprayed by previous owner and scuff on rear bumper, I will get done professionally (about £300-£400) prior to selling OR happy to reduce price and leave it upto the new owner

It will have a full professional internal/external valet

Any inspections/trial (with proof of insurance) welcome

£3,950 / offers / px (as will need a daily) - only reason for sale is to fund a particular Mk1 GTi purchase, if that falls thru them I am keeping.

Some pics (sorry about quality)
