anyone know how much dealers charge now for a service? and is it worth it as i know a lot of specialists charge a lot less.

I've had both my Services done at VW..

both times I've had extra work done, inspection service, brake fluid, gearbox oil, yada yada

around the 160-180 mark it what i paid, But i left it with them, Hammered around in a courtesty car for a day. Collected it with always good service from VW. Including some freebies :)
