Does this come with the loom?

comes with metal surround (for fitting to your headliner) and also comes with the plug and about 6 inches of loom.

was going to fit it to the polo, but it's awkward with me having an open air!

Hmmm how hard to fit to a 6n ?

trim the headlining, fit the metal frame, snip off the plug of your old light, connect the new plug and run a wire down the pillar to your headlight switch to control the ambient mood lighting (comes on when your side/headlights do)

I'll keep my eyes out for other Passat W8's in scrap yards! but i doubt i'll find another one.

Plus they're over £80 + VAT from VW for the bare light.
