I have here my //Alpine White Mk3 Polo GT. I've had the car for 3-4 years and spent a lot of money in this time. I've taken it too many shows and it always turns heads. Its a very reluctant sale but i just cant keep hold of it any longer.

There is one major problem with the car and i will tell you it now instead of waiting till the end to tell you. A few months ago the was having troublewith the car staying alive (the HT leads had staled) so i changed the leads and everything was fine. This was over winter and the car sat still for 3-4weeks while i arranged for it to be sorted. Now after i changed the leads, the car was on its way to be serviced directly after the fix and the car blew a core plug. It was the plug directly behind the mainfold. Since this i haven't moved the car or attempted to fix it due to money trouble (laid off due to recession). My mechanic friend says it will be a quick fix and no hassle at all, but i just never got round to fixing it.

This is an honest sale with no messing around.

Downsides to the vehicle:

The core plug problem.

The boot lid is rusting and will need changing eventually.

On the passenger side door lower edge this is some slight rusting but nothing major

The MOT has run out on the car

The car is currently SORN

Hi mate, yea remember seeing you car about. It was mate Mike, he always did all the work on my car. He works in a garage in Southampton called Brookspeed. Very respectable garage, they build race cars and are and VAG specialist. Pop round anytime if you want to have a look over it mate.

I never really got a quote of my mechanic, i just him to have a look at it till i could get some money together to pay for it but i just never got round to repairing it. He told me it would simply be just repairing the core plug situation and she should be good to fight again.
