Hi all, not been on here for a while, i used to own a 6n, but currently own a Corsa i know i know...

But iv just bort a skoda felicia pickup, like this one..

What you all think to it? and will it be as easy to play wi as the mk2 caddy pick-ups? Correct me if I'm wrong, but arnt they the same thing??

I have one and it will be up for sale in the near future. They are awesome. Reliable as funk and so good on fuel it is unreal.

Lowing them is either expensive GAZ coilies or two sets of lowering springs as there isn't a specific kit for this car made by anyone. So it is felicia lowering springs up front and then golf mk4 rear springs at the back. Meaning you have to bin half of two kits as no one really wants either of the half kits. That is how i lowered mine. Other way is chopping springs and that is obviously not a good thing to do. The front shocks are known to fail if rusty where the big bolt goes through at the bottom so check that. 5th gear is known to fault as well and will whine to let you know. It is an easy fix with the bolts that require changing being under the end gearbox casing. They can leak water under the windscreen seals too. Rust in areas too but that seems to be an issue too but that is commonplace of cars of this era.

Mine is lowered, satin nato green, with satin black renault turbines, and is the 1.9 diesel and does loads of milage to barely any fuel. Suprisingly it doesn't seem underpowered at all really. Has fog lamp front bumper from felicia and so on.

Good knowledge on briskoda and caddy forum but briskoda is more useful as it is basically a felicia underneath.

Can look sick too and always good to see a modded one about as it is not an obvious choice. High five for you.

Corsa's not gone yet.. Dont be jumpin the gun :p lol, still need to fix pick-up, been in a front end smash, nowt bad tho, then givin it a re-spray!

I really like them. Saw a plain white one with black bumpers lowered on ATS Cups and it looked stunning.

The wheels do really suit pick-ups though,saw a red MK1 Caddy lowered on them yesterday and it looked just as good.

I think the Felicia's a great car to derive the second Caddy from,i like its boxy glass area,really suits the shape of a pick-up.

Iv found out its not a skoda, it is a proper mk2 caddy, as it had no badges around it, and no log book yet, i asumed it were a skoda, cause someone said it were, found out today its not!

now then shaun, back to the vag scene eh? admittedly your corsa was one of the nicest ones round these parts, get yourself to shipley asda on a night and speak to craig hes got shitloads left from his van, theres another skoda pick up crooozin around bingley area but dont really know who he is.

I used to see a browny orange pickup driving about around Skipton, not seen it for a while though.

i think theres 2 of these round the corner from me, ones red, and ones under a cover, its either a skoda or a caddy, not sure tbf

The front end is not like a polo 6N or the caddy van. The grills and grill surround do not interchange, the lights aren't the same either. The car is actually based on a skoda felicia. VW took over skoda around the time they made these hence why some are badged VW. The grill and surround from the dealers is around £150. So basically the front can be swapped for a skoda felicia. Think the late skoda felicia front bumper fits too but looks rubbish.

So suspension on the front is all skoda felicia (favorit shocks on front also same), Lights and so on is skoda felicia, front grill and surround is either skoda felicia or the harder to find VW one.

So if searching for stuff don't buy anything from a 6N or a caddy van as it won't fit :-)

Yeye, i know what you mean, but its got the same front legs as a polo, and a caddy van, but diff slam panel, so if you change the front slam panel to a polo one, then a polo front end should fit on? Am i right???
