Put some 5mm spacers on, loads of room :D

the wheels were they after market or standard???

Vauxhalls from manufacturers spec have wheels with high offsets and are built to obviously conpensate for wheels with high offsets which is why you found that they fitted better on his corsa than your polo.

But yes dude slap some spacers on there and it will sort your problem out. Id say 10mm should suffice but its entirely on the look your going for, tuck or poke.

7j et35 will be fine on 6n with coilovers. I'm pretty sure of that, its only sat in 2mm more than rxIIs which are standard on german 6n gtis (and are currently on my 6n with more than 2mm clearance.) I've seen 7j et38 on a 6n without spacers too.

yep will be fine, my current rims are 7x15j et40! and they're fine, no need for spacers, unless you want more poke.

ye but these wheels are et 35 which i think the offset of the 6n is like 32 or somethin just wanted to no if it was going to scrub or not but i suppose if I've got 3mm gap it should be ok

My wheels are et 35 and I've never had any issues at all :) it should be fine

dont think you understand mate, my current rims are 7x15 et40 and your rims are 7x15 et35, and you are worried abaout the clearance from the coilovers yeah?

I have coilovers and my rims dont touch them, and a et35 rim will be sitting further away from the coilovers than a et40 rim. you get it now??

the lower the ET..the further out your wheel will sit away from the inside of the arch!
