My 6n 1.6glx

Featured Replies

Hi, the time has come to sell my polo.

Its a 1996 1.6 glx in dragon green.

i bought the car in january 2009 with around 82000 miles on the clock, now after a year the milage is around 102000 miles.

when i bought the car it was completely standard other than an aftermarket alarm and immobiliser.

I am the 4th owner of the car and the first two owners were father and daughter and they had the car for the first 10 years of its life.

the car has a full service history up until the point that i got the car and as i am a mechanic i decided to do the servicing myself, the car has had an oil change every 4000 miles with castrol magnatec oil and filters changed at the same time etc.this means that mechanically the car is in great condition and i have not had any trouble with this car.

Replacement parts:

New battery with 4 year warrenty - october 09

reconditioned gearbox

new clutch

new water pump

fuel pump

cambelt

alternator

Modifications:

fk coilovers

K&N 57i induction kit with cold air feed

iridium spark plugs

professionally fitted vinyl roof (chess board)

Car also sold with BNIB mk5 rear lights just need bulb holders.

Interior:

Completely standard glx interior.

JVC DAB digital radio head unit with iPod connector.

Bad Points:

there are two cracks on the front bumper, however i have a brand new bumper in primer which will come with the car in the sale.

the usual stone chips and the odd dent.
