For me the Audi rims looked best but as we always say "it's your car" and it's sweet as.

looks nice mate always loved that colour 6ns

I agree with Andy, it looked the best on the audi pepperpots, but i think they bandies would link mint if they had an extra colour in there, Colour coded centre?

  • Author

i prefer it on the new wheels and thats why i got them :) :)

have thought about colour coding them in some way but i have never been a fan of colour coding! BOLD STATEMENTS FTW!!!

The car is in at the bodyshop this week and i have got a few other things to be focussing on at the moment

Couple of wee updates so here we go

Bought some laminex about a month ago so decided to whack that on whilst the bumper was off

Before

Picture021.jpg

and after

Picture022-1.jpg

Darker than i thought but will suit it with the look I'm going for

Also the reason the bumper was off is that i was having the plate recess smoothed off and the plate relocated

Smoothed, primered and painted

The updates on the thread from this point onwards may be a little bit slower for this reason!

Broke my kneecap last summer and just had all the scaffolding removed from it the other day, battling on and will try and get regular updates on!

Going to be alot of help needed from the mates in the coming weeks! hahaha

christ! your knee looks so rough!

car looks good already what plans you got?

  • Author

yerr feels slightly rough aswell at the moment! haha

yerr may give it a few rubs with the t-cut and see how she comes out haha!

lets hear what you think?

Your knee and your car looks very nice :D

Btw what wipers are they?

Look nice

in think standard orange indies would look alot better mate.

Max

Looks good for the tinted lights

Just the indicators letting it down now, tint them as well :D

  • Author

yerrr i do need to get hold of some orange indies and repeaters and see how they look

anyone have any going spare?

i dont know which bodywork is better the knee or the car! aha

the wipers are actually tescos finest universal fitment! FTW!!!

Broken legs suck! I just literally came out of my cast for my broken ankle hours ago!

Are you not in a cast then?

Car looks mint are you going to lamin x the indicators?

yeah get some orange indi's on!! Please say your going to get some new tyres on those wheels, they look massive?!! Looks tops though....really like it!!

  • Author

broken kneecaps suck more! trust me haha

nice hairy ankle then? lolly!

I'm either lamin-x'ing the indies or going to put some areange indies on, going to go for a bit of trail and error haha!

yerr i willl most probably get some smaller profile tyres next time they need changing but just got these as a starting point to see how it would sit

cheers for the compliments though!

SICK! storm grey FTW!

hows the lamin-x perform light output wise??? like all the wheels tbh the audis sit better but the steelies are cool (maybe less arch gap ;) )

  • Author

my favourite colour of 6n for sure!

to be honest the light output is quite frankly terrible haha!

run full beams all the time! ;)

yerr the pepperpots did sit beautifully but you are right pepe i do need take my helper springs out because i use this as my daily and my rears are slowly nibbling away at my arches haha

Be prepared for getting pulled by the police ALL DAY LONG with wheels pertruding like that!

try and cover up some of the poke, sort out the indicators and its a winner

  • Author

had the wheels on the car for about a month now poyzon and have not been pulled yet, but just luck of the draw i guess!! ;)

and yerr higgo i may get the arches pulled and rolled when i go for a respray so that should loose some of the poke! not a big fan of poke i guess then?

also the indicators do need sorting out haha! thats the next job

bet the police love you.

sick car man, love it

  • Author

haha dilz000 i haven't been pulled yet but it is off the round at the moment and cheers bullawayo

  • Author
