Think it looked best on the pepper pots. Steelies are to wide on the front and to much arch gap all round.

it did sit well on the pepperpots but they started to get a bit samey and i couldnt get as low as i wanted to on them!

I'm preparing to go much lower on the wellers you will be pleased to know :) and as with the width of them...maybe i do wish i would of gone 7's on the front instead of 8's but o well :) what is done is done :)

rice crispy cake FTW !! lol

looking good tho m8.

them steels have some poke at the front dont they lol

keep the updates cumin will be keeping a close eye on this one :)

Chris

Bet you're tired of hearing it but I think it looked really good on the 'pots. The bright silver of the wheels complimented the dark grey really well.

Those steels have potential but the arches need pulling or something, at the moment it looks a bit silly.

Other than that I think it's coming along nicely.

cheers parfay and theres much more to watch out for in the coming months! thats the first comment thats not blatently against the size of the fronts! haha

yerrs cheers pswpolo they were a brilliant set of wheels and in good condition but i just wanted something different to set my car apart from the rest and get it as low as i wanted (arch gap is to be lessened in the coming weeks)

it has also crossed my mind wether to get the steels blasted and powdercoated in a light grey/silver the same as the pepperpots were!

as with the wheels looking silly... IMO i guess thats what you get when you go for poke? if i am right!

cheers guys!

When I say they look 'silly', I just mean they look too wide at the moment.

in a way i do wish i would of got 7's on the front but i wanted the wheels there and then and they didnt have any 7's in at the time! lolly :) :)

cheers buddy! yerr basically i got the car running after fitting a new cooling system and sump then on my way down to tesco to check my tyre pressures i drove past a traffic cop as he was parked up. i kept going and started pumping. as i looked behind me he had pulled up and decided to comment on how far the wheels poke out of the arches "people could get runover by them! thats what arches are for young man!"

he was talking down to me like a small child and then tried to do me for my uk legal reflective pressed plates being ilegal!

i was having none of that hahah

luckily he let me go but he said "i have marked you down and if you are caught again you could have your car seized" basically he was trying to pull the threat jobby on me!

at least you didnt get points and a fine!!!!! New wheels or jdm arches it is!!!!

cheers bullawayo and joshc but there is a chance that they may have to due to the legalities!

Get your arches pulled! Wouldn't that sort it? Would defo reduce amount of tread showing? What's the max amount of tread you can show? I can't remember! Shame tho they were starting to grow on me lol!
