hiya have been on here for months now but haven't posted anything soo here goes.. this is my project i got from my uncle in september for Free to learn to drive in a since then have been slowly working on its nearly ready for respray it have done evrything my self and i was only 16 when i started now 18 lol..enjoy

smoothed 16v front bumper,debadged grill,clear front and side repeaters,rubbing strips removed,,smoothed nmumber plate,badge,boot handle,16v rear bumper number plate lights smoothed and tow point,door sill lines and some panel gaps also smoothed and jack points and arial smoothed

TO DO: some more rust needs removing and a bit of filler work then it will be resprayed with a black vinal roof

SORRY PICS arnt great quality some are also side ways but you get the idea

LITTLE SAMPLE OF WHAT HAS BEEN DONE..

also done the rear wiper blank

and what looks like at the moment all the black is rust proof primer and where there was rust

like it mate, did you weld plates in to smooth the boot lid? or just wack in the filler?

well there are metal plates behind everything welded in then fiberglass and then filler.

well I'm going to give it a go I'm only 17 but have done everything else myself so hope it comes out good...

if you after paintwork check out www.crazydubs.co.uk our local friendly VW group and if its flat paint your after let it be know as will off there has done several cars now and a few of them have some awardage from shows :)

All sanded up to 400...everything removed and masked up

first coat of primer only one photo at mo (note its also white lol)

dude, before you spray you wanna filler that line behind the lights :) bt other than that looks fecking mint! :))) this is what i will be doing to mine :) all myself, nice one keep it up
