UPDATE:

Right i finally got the front bumper on and a few other bits and bobs ...just waiting to get the indicators and lower grill ad the front will be finished.

You may notice i have no bonnet that is because i am re-spraying it as (my Dad went though the paint in a few places lol he wont be doing that again :) but while its off I'm tidying up the engine and going to polish the rocker cover

Also painted tha drums and calipers to tidy them up

And the roof was a absalote epic fail :( DO NOT ATTEMT VINYAL ROOF WITH OUT PROFESSIONAL HELP !!!!

Right then we get on to the roof,,,we started by spraying the roof with laods of water and aplied the vinyal but even though i had eperienced help we couldnt get all the bubbles out and it was getting late so had no choice to dry the water out and hope we could smooth them out but we couldent the result.........

So we had to rip it of which took all the paint off the roof :( wasnt impressed :@

The only good thing to come of it is i dont have to sand the paint down now befor i SPRAY THE ROOF BLACK INSTEAD which is what i should have done in the first place...hope thats a lesson to you all

hi guys after the vinyal fail ...i decided to spray the roof black

wiper blank

roof still wet and will need polishing ( note no aeriel on roof )

bonet isnt on properly in this pic if you were wondering

Is that gloss black on the roof if so it looks abit dry - when you pain gloss the 1st coat should be a dust if paint. The second coat should be what looks like you have done then the final coat should be quite heavy to get that gloss then will only need a small amount of flagging and polishing.

Besides that well dine the car looks wicked! :-D

hiya mate yeah it is i must admit after i done it i did think i should have put abit more paint on. so yeah you are right but its ok i will wet sand and polish it any way same as the rest of the car :)

cheers, it isnt insured at the moment and hasnt been on the road for one year its a 1.4L ...but i quotes where around £2500 so it may be off the road for abit longer lol until i have a job or aprentiship :(

it was £170 on the ebay its wolf air 2.5hp 50ltr only a cheep one came with gun and a few other air tools but if you can afford better get better
