WTF! :doubt::lol: I've never heard that before :paranoid: i might well be wrong but that just sounds like an excuse to not track a lowered car to me

Try a different garage

I've had cars on coilovers at all sorts of different heights and the garage i get the tracking done at has never questioned the 'measurements for the specific suspension' :retard:

I've always assumed they just set up the laser thingies and then just keep adjusting the track rod untill its lined up??????

I'm a thick c*nt though, so id like to see what someone who knows what they're talking about has to say about it

well thats what i thought, i assumed that to do the tracking they just matched up the measurements of each wheel and made them face straight forwards.lol.

the laser ones won't fit will they because its lowered too far?? thats why i went to this specific one because they still have the old gauges aswell

i got my 6n tracked and it was wound all the way down lol no asking stupid shit.

they are just talking shit, try a different garage, like Walshc said, they just turn the track rod untill i straight, on a mk3 the drivers side is fixed, only passenger is doable, guess its the same on mk2's? someone correct me :D

Quick question Jay - where is this place with the old style ones? Could come in handy - as demon tweeks in wrexham costs a fair bit

cheers lads i'll try someone else at the same place and if i get the same bullshit i'll try find somewhere else with the old gauges

i cant remember what it's called oly but its a tyre place in frankwell behind the indian and the anchor pub, hope that helps

thing is with ollys problem the cars too low for gauges most of the time because they hang it off the wheels. and when we had a quick play the old set bumper was in the way. if you are place can do it then let us no for future reference.
