IS THERE NOTHIN YOU CAN DO

gaffa tape the inside and outside of your window.

sureley if your windscreen is shaking thats really unsafe!

It happens, subs move air, air has to escape somewhere to equal the pressure out, it escapes from your door seals and tries to force it's way out of your windscreen, basic physics :p

to stop this happening, when you go loud, open your sunroof/ window/ other thing to give the extra pressure somewhere easy to get out :)

1000w sub at RMS or peak? as the only time iv ever seen a windscreen shake from to much bass is at DB drag events, where there pushing serious volume,

and i run a 1200w sub and never had a problem like this a few things shake here and there but not the windscreen , might be worth getting it checked out as it might fall out

Oh and for the record, you ain't loud :D

and joe, my mates on the laptop, so that's why I ain't replying :)

Ha if it's that loud serious mate, that will be doing some damage to your ears unless you have un-usually loose glass.

Give it couple of years (if that) and let the ringing start!

there is only one way to stop your windscreen flexing like it is and your not going to do it so its pointless even mentioning it but my old db drag spl mk2 golf had this problem but i was hitting mid 166's on the meter and to cure the problem i filled the void with concrete and the effect of this was a gain in pressure and ended up hitting 168db on the meter

Thanks 4 the advise

The windscreen is bonded in so well it strengthens the bodyshell. It wouldn't make a noise even if it was loose,so the noise/movement must be just trim around the screen.

Incidentally, you need to get your hearing tested. Loud music damages hearing permanently.
