what about a tdi conversion?

is this a caddy van you have? if so any mk2/mk3 golf or any of the variants will go in.

you need to ask yourself what you want from an engine, do you want to convert to petrol which would be slightly more work but would give you options such as ABF (2 liter 16v) or the VR6. or if you wanted to stick to diesel but with more go you could go with the AAZ (1.9 td) or mk2 golf GTD (1.6 td) not a massively powerful out of the box but with a few mods they go really well and easily tuned, there will also be TDI conversions that would go in it pretty easy as well but i don't know a great deal about them apart from they ain't very tunable until you get into the realms of the PD engines iirc.

guy i know put a 1.9 tdi golf engine in hiss dunno what sortt of work would have to go into doin it but i know it works and its pretty fast :)
