as tittle realy i want to know if i put my cbr600 carbs on my 1.3gt next weekend, whether they will run strait off of the bike or whether they will need some tweaking just to get me to john sleath race cars to have them set up properly

its not far only 2 miles but i dont fancy pushin my car that far lol

If you get them on and it runs, 2 miles should be no problem. Some carbs need air jets blocked, others don't. give it a high idle and get it there.

I've driven over 500 miles with carbs fresh from a bike, probably didnt run as good as they could, but it dont half shift.

however with 2nd hand carbs, two sets for 40 quid, one could be shagged, one could be fine, have you had a general look at the condition of them?

My GSXR600 carbs ran pretty well before being set up. You'll pretty much definitely need them balancing at the very least tho.

they look in pretty good condition and am defo guna get them set up starit away as is going to the rolling road day at john sleath's but would like to get them set up the week before so i can fit 2 new valve guilds and get it all run in
