6N2 Interior Spray Painting - What You Think :P

Featured Replies

Right so decided to rip out parts of my dash to spray paint (got bored :p)

So started with these bits, using 400 grit sand paper and 600 for the plastic bits coated in rubber..

Then primer and resanded the bits down after becuase i made a small mistake when spraying!

Then did the gloss black base coat for the effect to show through!

Spent today putting the indigo blue final coat on! The swirls in the paint is the effect i was going for (not orange peel) :p

And just now put the laquer on :p

What you all think?

Clearer pictures will come on later when the laquer drys!

Sweet mate!

I like the way you've remove the paint from the little dials on the heater controls as opposed to painting straight over them :)

I'd do the dome thing above the clocks too. Not the whole thing just the plastic edge which clips out!
