I was down about 100mm at one point and didn't scrub the tyres, they're et38 6j so there's loads of room under there, it's just everything else banging and rubbing like the drive shaft lol

Am i right in thinking If i go from 55 profile to 45 profile, will that drop the body by 10mm without adjusting the spring settings???

this wont lower it another 10mm mate. the numbers in a tyre size go as follows...

eg:

205= tyre width is 205 mm

50= the sidewalls of the tyre are 50% of the tyre width. in this case 100.25

15= obviously the wheel size.

sounds about right mate and its neither of those lol. your calculating the distance between the bead of the tyre and the top of the side wall. only know this because worked in a garage since i was 13 up untill last year lol.

got the centres on Ebay mate, they're G60 centres, slightly different to the ones you get with newer steelies.

Update, Ordered my tyres last week, 195/45/14 falkens all round. They sent 15s lol :(

Not getting them delivered until tuesday which has kinda shit all over my weekend so i'm rolling the 13s to MFN tonight.

So my tyres finally arrived! Got them fitted this morning, it's sitting lower now. sorry about pic quality.
