went and put a deposit on a polo today, collecting it on tuesday. The bloke said it's a rare colour. I haven't seen many this colour, but doubt it's rare

my old corsa that i unfortunately smashed up :'(

i'm not allowed to start modding till I pay back my dad next month. so will be standard for a while

nice set of VW wheels sprayed black (dunno what wheels i want or what other standard VW wheels fit. may even just settle for bigger steelies)

depo headlights like I had on my corsa (if they make them for polo's?)

I don't really know alot about polo's so help and advice would be appreciated

is it easy to do the head lights? i tried to make some for my corsa, but gashed it up so bought some proper ones

yeh, remove them from the car, remove the bulbs, protect the wires, put them in the oven for 5 mins each, pull the glass off with your hands, mask the inside, spray the colour of your choice, seal the glass, put back together and then put them back on the car :)

will it work with a heat gun? cuz my ma went mad last time i tried to put them in the oven hahahaha.

yeh will work the same, just keep it moving along the seal, so you dont melt the plastic :)

i take it you can do the indicators in the same way.

gonna get my mates dad to make me up some gloss black side repeaters and rears aswell, like he did for my corsa. well he made them for his redtop, but i stole them when his engine seized up.

what wheels you reckon I should go for. I want something VW as I'm going for the same sort of OEM+ look I did with the corsa, plus standard wheels are normally cheaper than fancy ones hahah

after a long time of owning it and not doing much i decided to pull my finger out and make a start

I bought some p-slots off ebay and got those on straight away

still not sure of to refurb them. i'm thinking white with blue centre's and p's but it will take AGES!

took of badges and wiper

and after months of looking for a second hand splitter i gave up and went straight to vw lol

next on my list is tinted headlights, general tidy up of bodywork and the wheels, then i will probs stop there until feburary when i decide to keep it or not (depending on insurance on something with a bigger engine)

if i do decide to keep it for another year or so then it's going on the floor and getting a mk3 golf colour concept interior, and possibly something better under the bonnet if funds and time allow
