as title i have just bought a car which had minimal tax on it and i have received the v5c 4 days ago and the tax run out 9 days ago so will i get a reminder or is there a way i can do it without a reminder because its now just sitting on my dads drive and i cannot afford a fine coz they wont send me a reminder???

You can use the number On the front of the log book, that's how I dud mine :)

Do it online asap.

I did mine a month late and got no fines or out. not saying you should leave it that long though.
