right i've just decided my bora needs alot of wong thrown at it (again) so i'm looking to sell the arosa project

current spec is;

'98 arosa

1.4 16v AFH lump

custom loom

egr removed

fresh oil and filter

new dizzy cap and rotor arm

carbon cannister removed

stripped rear

new front coilovers

custom rear shocks

14 x 6j steels with 195/45/14 rubbers

cobra monaco buckets

red 4 point harnesses

g40 steering wheel

pioneer cd player

badboy bonnet

new mini mirrors on carbon fibre base plates

new exhaust system with decat + custom side exit

custom air intake + k&n filter

16v front hubs +brakes - new discs and pads

new genuine vw wheel bearings

16v subframe and arb

polo gti steering rack

new wishbones and uprated bushes

new top mounts

new bottom ball joints

new track rod ends

lupo rear smooth bumper

boot smoothed with popper on wiper stalk

passenger handle smoothed out

drivers door handle smoothed out and opens with button on alarm

repeaters smoothed out

as you can see from my build thread the car is in primer

all new parts above have covered under 5 miles (test driven only)

in it's current state it has no mot

options are

- i'll finish smoothing bodywork and prime it up, mot it and sell it

- sell it as it is

- finish the bodywork completely, mot it and sell it

1K will take it as it stands add more if you want any of the above doing

for a few quid extra will also throw in spare gearbox, alternator, original front seats and belts, original steering wheel, arosa rear bumper and a few other bits and bobs.

bad points are; thrust bearing is noisy (may quieten down with use but who knows) headlight brackets have small cracks but don't affect them (were like it when i got it)

oh there is 164k on the clock but EVERYTHING has been replaced with new or sub 100k stuff.

sorry chaps i haven't been on here for a few days, been busy fitting a 1.8 20v turbo into a 1.4 golf.

as per text with stefduff last night it is still for sale, as it hasn't been on the road yet it is still registered as a 1.0.

it needs a tyre for the MOT, i've been given a price of £45 for a falken by a mate who works in a tyre bay and can bung an MOT on it at cost.
