This is my first topic iveposted on here so sorry if abit messy lol.

Here is my first car from when i passed my test.

I paid 350 for it in this state.

Not looking in the best of shape.

Since i didint pay too much for the car i soon had it in my dads garage :-D , having a new wing, door, window and respray done too it.

Now the polo was looking more like a polo I've started getting down to business with it and have a loads of ideas in my head of what i want to do to it :

Wheels

Coilovers

interior

e.g

It didnt take long to get the bagdes sprayed and polo writing debadged.

sprayed them black as you can see

I then went on to chequere my petrol cap and interior mirror with black vinyl.

Since then i have a new set of wheels,tyres and dice caps put onto the car, making it look way better in my eyes

just waiting on coilys to arrive shouldnt be long now :-) .

my latest little project is some neon lights under the footwell which have bin fitted and hidden, but i had a switch put in the car by my dad so i could turn them on and off whenever. but the switch was abit big so got on the internet and found a nice little missle switch which came toady .

cheers matey, yeh looking at changing them again, getting a de badged grille for front,

plan on getting it on coilys, spray the trim all round the car, just bin to source and sound near here getting info on boot builds and stuff.

just looking around really looking for ideas.

id say go for the clour coded bump strips will make it look cleaner i think, if you get me

Welcome to the site :) You're making good progress with the car!

If it was me I'd probably paint the back of the rear badge white and keep the VW black, just to break it up a bit. But that's just my opinion lol

Another little update,

got mymissle switch in last week to switch my footwell lights on and off.

today at college decided to start building a boot build for the back,

got the frame done so far

I've built a shallow sub box due to i do alot of downhill mountain biking so the bike and kit got to go all in the back.

But i didnt want a sub box i had to keep taking out. still got to put mdf on yet and sum sort of fabric.

This is what i got so far:

Plenty of boot space lol

made at college, nearly finished my joinery course had a go making a box lol

Fits nicely

got to get this all in car for when am racing at weekends lol

aw man, black wheels is a big no no from me, just totally ruins the car, but thats just me, i hate black wheels altogether, dont see why people think they look nice?

i think the badges would look good in white with a black background and colour coding the handles and bumpstrips would finish her off nicely.

I would say get springs as you wouldnt even be able to get very low on the wheels you have on the at the moment, you would be better off gettin wheel that are a couple inches smaller.

not a fan of black wheels and mesh either and i cant say I'm a fan of neons of any kind. But then I'm more of a classic car type.

looks sweet from the outside though, nicely done... also the coilovers look good
