Hi I'm desperately looking for a Gearbox for my Polo Mk3 GT breadvan...need it by this weekend!!

My drive shaft broke and smashed a hole in the gearbox today so now my car is just sitting on the drive not going anywhere and i need it for work on Monday!! (

Please can somebody help me!!!

Hi there mate , this is abit of a situation this is really , i know my boss at work is a vw nerd sort of thing and has a few bits and bobs kicking about , and i did ask him once about a gearbox and he said there rare things but he has 3 of them , this was a slight time ago but i doubt he can have sold 3 ,!

he runs the motorsport side (lotus specialists) of hoffman's of henley (bentleys aston martin ect), I'm sure if you gave him a call tomro before 12.30 at work if he has somethin going I'm sure he would be more thn happy to sort you out ,

So glad to hear you got that all sorted out ! , yea phill is my vw geek , he has soo much vw stuff as he was going to start his own buisness selling all the bits off but he never did and just kept all the bits at a lock up , even have a few cars there i think (spares ect) , but yea if you need anythin I'm sure he would be helpful if you mention me (: ,
