you can get a pack of grommets from halfords mate, iirc i think the one you need is 23/24mm :-D

just take the base plate off the wiper arm...

stick a 2p on the back...bit of filler to fill the hole...aerosol primer...matt back aerosol...stick on with windscreen adhesive.

job done...thats what I've used for mine and looks much better than just a grommet in the hole.

I'm not really fond of the grommit idea and would of done this initially but it didnt appeal.

Rob I used a similiar method to yours and made a smooth one myself, but it fell of somehow when my friend slammed the boot and it looked rubbish without one there and as I'm at uni I didnt have anything proper to stick it back on with so i put a bit of whitetak on to hold it, lasted a week and its fallen off somehwere :(

i filled one etc, and glued it to glass with superglue, after about an hour of driving it had gone lol.

Hmmmm...my uncle used some special adhesive on mine last time and when my friend slammed the boot it fell off. I was thinking superglue but as youve tried it and it failed I guess ill use windscreen adhesvie like Rob did.
