Clifford Alarms

Featured Replies

Hi all

Since breaking my Mk3 I have for sale my alarl/central locking set up.

From memory it is the Clifford Concept 300 G4. It comes with the proxy sensor. I cannot remember if this came as part of the set up or whether I part extra for it.

It was originally fitted by Ben at The Sound Gallery, High Wycombe. The quality of work is very high and I struggled to tell where the original VW loom ended and the new clifford loom started. For ease of removal and instal I left the wiring as complete as possible with minimal cuts and snips. Anything cut has been stuck together and labelled. All plugs have been labelled. Will include the full wiring from behind the dash, so should literally be a case of plug and play! Should be a simple job for an auto electrician or a good DIY mechanic.

Should also have both fobs, but I deally you'd want new ones. Available I beleive from Clifford or ebay.

Thatcham approved alarm although you will not get a cert for insurance purposes (obvious really). I do have the original manual.

I paid something in the region of £400 - 500 for this new and fitted a few years ago. Yours for £85, collected from Wolverhampton.

Any questions, please do ask!

I have the same for a mk4 polo. Wiring is not as complete. Looking for £30.

sooo tempting.

Can/is it wired into central locking?

What about self closure for leccy windows?

What bits n bobs does it come with? (sensors for bonnet n boot etc)

Comes wired into a C/L system. This will be included.

Nothing for Leccy windows, but I guess it could be added. Don't know how though.....

Comes with all the sensors.
