i want to paint my badges this weekend on my polo 9n

and was wondering is it as straight forward as it look just sand down and masking tape it up and spray the so on

ill buy a rear one but the front one i can sand down and spray right?

make sure you sand all the chrome off, i didnt and now I've got a few chips to sort out . thatll learn me

All I did was popes the badge off sanded the plastic/chrome so It all looked like brushed metal then plenty of light coats! (don't think the chrome comes off the badges I think there made outa silver plastic! Both of mine have been fine for months! (on my 6n)

Ha, that's what happened to mine too

Might as well get a can of plastic primer if you want it to stay on.
