Recently bought a Mk2 Golf Gti so its time to move on my little Polo, owned the car since Nov 2007, made a few changes along the way, see the build thread below.

Current Spec:

Make: Volkswagen

Model: Polo Coupe

Year/Reg: 1990

Mileage: 93000 approx

MOT: July 24th 2010

Tax: SORN, Tax can be negotiated at cost.

Good points:

- The car has had a tuned ABD engine conversion running on the DMTL carb (see build thread for details), RR'd at 86bhp and 92lbft, great fun to drive.

- G40 brake conversion, Brembo MAX disks and pagid pads

- Koni Yellow adjustable dampers, -40mm Eibach springs.

- GT interior, black carpets, G40 Steering wheel.

- GT Steels, 13x5.5J with 175/60 R13 Firestones all 5mm+

- Solid overall bodywork, few scabs and dents as expected

- Mechanically very good.

- 5 speed 8p gearbox

Bad points:

- rebuilt using shitty GSF headgasket that weeps a bit of oil in the usual place by the front of the block, compression tested, totally fine.

- a few interior niggles, grey parcel shelf, scuffs on the seats

- few scabs and dings on the panels

- battery tray repaired, but drips water when you wash the car, seam sealer will cure it.

You have the option of either the GT steels or 14" Castalettes with 185/55 R14 Firestones depending on price, also the shed full of spares, including a fuel tank and whatever else i can dig out.

hello matey is there any chance of getting the car to bristol as need a good little runner and these have never let me down in the past(had 4 gt's in the past).
