my mate bought some of these HID Bulbs and i thought they looked ok.

these are abit bright though arn't they? they can't be legal?

Fully legal and VOSA tested.

Just in this pic there on full beam (BI-XENON) and the fog lights are on, both sets of lights use 4300k (Bright White) HID's.

Are right, so is this just the bulbs or is it a HID kit?

Because my mate bought some 5500k bulbs and they looked ok.

There proper HID's, not "HID Xenon" Effect bulbs.

Bulbs alone wont make a difference they just tint the glass to change the colour of the light, while the tint does give the appearance of brighter light its all an effect.

Proper HID bulbs look like this...

Are right, ok.

anyone link a good, but cheapish HID kit?

Xenon's online as thats were i get my kits from or you can get cheap kits on ebay.

But make sure you get the right bulbs, if you have H4's then you need the Bi-xenon kit to retain the hi/lo function.

Xenons online or HIDS4U.

HID's look blueish, like the ones in my pic! They are 8000k bulbs, and have a slight blue tint. From Xenons online, and very good stuff!

Go for 6000k.

Go for 6000k.

Any reason why?
