I've seen this a few times, i think it keeps not meeting the reserve? he just keeps putting it back up at the same price LOL

I think its a 'she' that owns it, it was once headed for the scrappage scheme.

It looks at first glance like a nice original G40...but a closer look shows its a little rough around the edges. She says its due to being 18 years old, but no matter how old a car is regular care and maintainance will keep it mint. Which obviously hasn't been done in this case...which would lead me to think it would be a bit of a money pit of a G40 as the bodywork would need tidying up...and the fact its not being used at present aswell suggests if its suddenly going to be used as a daily or anything problems may start arising.

It does have a good plate on it though...but its not included, she says you can buy it seperatly but gives no price.

Personally though if I was to buy that for £1800 I'd want the plate with it.

She's looking for £500 for the plate Steven...the reserve will be about £1600 i recon.

If usual prices of G40's are going for around thw 1k why is everyone selling them near the 3k, i mean i really want one but i aint forking out over 2k, when i could spend 3 and get something more modern and powerful.. ?

She's called Emma, she's owned that car for years. It would appear it is still her trying to sell it. It was a really good g40 a few years ago, probably still is!

Doesnt look that bad to me, a little rough round the edges but it can all be sorted easily enough.

Is it Capri green? Or is that lighter?

I've seen worse,it failed at a grand and that's blatantly not enough. No telling what plate you'd get though.
