I am starting this thread as I need to see what interest there is for my polo.

The simple reason is, due to the mileage I do, I need a newer car.

I love this car to bits and would hate to see her go but, needs must.

I am in no rush to sell

Make: VW Polo

Model: GT

Year/Reg: 1991 (H)

Mileage: 127k (but used as a daily so will increase)

MOT: Now has 12months MOT (27/3/10)

Tax: 6 months tax as of 1st April

Good points:

**Engine has not failed failed me.

**Always starts

**Has had a rebuild before I had her

**Fuel economy is quite good and can get around 370 miles to a full tank

**Body work is tidy for her age (not perfect but still good)

**Nippy and fun to drive

**Clean interior

**I have lots of spares for her, most of which will replace the niggly little bits that need doing.

**Folder full of reciepts with some history

**Looked after, serviced about 3k ago (oil change, ht leads, spark plugs, oil filter, air filter)

Bad points:

**The odd rust spot, but only scabs, no holes.

**Bottom of the drivers door is a little rotten but I have new doors to replace them with.

**Couple of minor marks on the doors and a little laquer peel near the rear window.

**Starter motor is getting a little lazy, but still starts no problems (can be sorted before sale if needed),

**Will need a new exhaust at some point,

**Minor leak coming in the boot somewhere, nothing major, I think its just due to the boot not being lined up properly.

**Bonnet over the passenger side light is slightly mis-shaped and puts the headlight alignment out a bit (have another bonnet to replace it with)

**Fan only works on 3 but I have what is needed to fix it.

Engine (a bit dirty)

Bonnet over the lights as mentioned

But as said I have a replacement bonnet which will sort this.

Pictures are a little dark as it was getting dark when I got back from work.

Will get some other pictures when car is clean and its not so dark.

Ahh, no the car itself is too big :) thanks though.

As I have been asked a few times already, at the moment I am not looking to split anything.

If/when the car sells, based on what they buyer wants/needs, then I will start selling bits off separately :)
