I've recently bought a polo and i'm proper interested in lowering it on some deep dish rims, or banded steelies.

only problem is, after lots of searching around the forum i'm still non the wiser.

so could anyone help me with how deep to make the steelies and what the mesurements on the tyres?

and how would i go about getting the right mesurments for banded steelies?

What polo have you got?

Tyre measurements eg 185/55/15 mean 185 is the width of the tyre, 55 is the height of the tyre wall and 15 is the rim size. Your probably gonna stretch your tyres so make sure you get the right ones!

If you're gonna stretch the tyres to get them under the arch,and deep dish is the aim,id go for like an et42 rim. Then band it from 6" to 8/9"
