Hi

djsimmy has succesfully insatlled Mk1 Audi TT front seats in his 6N2... looks fab. Can anyone tell me if they are a direct fit? if not... what mods are required to make them fit. I have sent djsimmy a pm but awaiting reply. thought anybody else may know.

Really need help on his as going to buy these seats on the weekend.

Got some in mine, but they need a subframe making up as they are not a direct fit. I was lucky and bought some ready to go straight in.

You need to get subframes welded up for them bud...not hard at all tbh.

As mentioned, custom to get them to fit, easy enough though, in terms of rears, if you want leathers, the TT's arent going to fit in basically, but what I did was get a mk3 golf recaro colour concept bench and move this across to the polo frame backing.

Properly nice seats when they're in, although my mk4 golf recaros now are just as nice :p

What do you guys think.. i know you guys will know, having them fitted to your 6N2 too.

Personally I prefer TT ones.

However if you can get your hand on some concepts cheap then go for them.

TT seats any day for me, I had some mk3 golf recaros in there first, they lasted about 2 weeks, just went back to standards until I put the TT's in, comfy, just not the best on hard cornering, slide out of them easily being leather n all..

Is that picture you posted the ones your going to buy, or just an example? It looks like they're in a polo? If so, they will fit straight in

The picture i posted are the mk1 Audi TT seats in a 6N2 but everyone who has them in a 6N2 are saying they are not a direct fit and require a subframe to be welded.

I was just thinking if anyone knows of any seats that will fit straight in with no need to mod.
