thats what vw quoted me for one, and i reli cant afford it, was hopin sum1 might hav1 cheaper on here.

i reli need a pay rise :(

thanks for the reply tho.

yeah i had too wait 2 weeks for it as it was on back order when i got it before christmas, but then found out while i was waiting it was my disi hall sender after swapping the disi.

would be cheeper buying a whole second hand Throttle body they go for abotu £15 -50 depending if they are flowed or standard/working etc

didnt think you could buy the TPS on its own, it has to be the whole throttle body as the TPS is factory set.

its just a fancy (expensive) variable resistor cymro.

its like old BMC disi's has a slot it goes in that matches the butterfly position so you cant really get it wrong then the 2 side bolts hold it in position.

yea I've alredi changed the whole thing, bout 2weeks ago. but it was one i got given when i got the car, so i dont no how much works its done reli.

i just cant believe its so expensive, for sumthin so small, another reason i dont wona get a brand new, is if it isn't the TPS thats the problem its abit of money wasted, specialy when i can't afford it.

cheers for the advice tho lads.

try changing the disi and checking the coil and take a plug out make sure its got a good strong spark before buying anything i would say.
