A bit about the Car

I’ve owned this Bora since August 2008 and loved it ever since. It's fantastic to drive and pulls well through the whole 6 speed gear range. Was previously owned by a doctor and has FSH up to 122K (serviced every 7-10K including a lot of VW dealer stamps). Car was bought by me at 127K and been serviced every 5K up to it's current 142K (car is driven daily so may increase). Full Belt change (including Cam-belt) at 132K and a full engine service also done including all filters and glow plugs. Mechanically this car is absolutely fantastic, and feels like its only done 40K! A low number of owners means the car is in a great condition, both inside and out, with no dents/scratches, not even the usual car park dinks! Interior is still fresh, with no tears and an all round nice cabin to be in! Recent Tyres and brakes all round also.

MOT is due early Autumn (September) but would easily pass, and the car will come with 6 months tax as of the end of March, earlier if necessary.

On average, it runs high 40's MPG, back & forth to work etc... And high 50's on long runs, so It's very economical, and only an insurance group 8, so surprisingly cheap to insure too!

Few bad points

Wanting to be honest about the car, it does have 2 minor niggles. The front splitter cracked whilst camping (got caught on a mound of grass), and so I took it off, so the car doesn't have a front splitter. These can be replaced by VW or aftermarket parts for around £50. The elctric window mechanism (Drivers door only), keeps sticking. Does go up and down (slowly), but could do with the repair kit from VW which is £41.

Apart from that, the car is fantastic in every way and will be for years to come.

Reason for sale

My girlfriend is learning to drive in ana automatic, and as we can't afford 2 cars, I need to sell my Manual Bora for an auto.

Price

I'm looking for £2600 o.n.o. Will consider a PX for an automatic VAG car, preferably Mk3 Golf Cabrio Automatic (Long shot but you never know!)

And now for the pictures

Please Note; The car will be fully Valeted upon collection :)
