one thing i don't understand after reading the article, it say's that it's only since the police have seen the video that they are reinvesting it as a serious collision. there may not of been video evidence before but they must of taken statements at the time and seen the damage that would of told them exactly what had happened. could it be that the attending police haven't done their job correctly?

I would deffo be hard on the horn and throwing stuff out of my window onto the truck windscreen. Thing is though what happens if the truck changes lanes? could end badly.

Yeh but tbh, i used to park artics when i used to drive for an electrical company.

I used to reverse them up aganst the warehouse to stop people braking in.

We're talking less than 1mph here... I would reverse them up until the top of the trailer was touching the building.

Even then at the slowest crawl possible, knocking against the wall felt like the truck was being hit with a wrecking ball.

I think the driver wasn't paying enough attention tbh, if you drive for a living, the top priority when on the road is to be ON THE BALL!

Regardless of blind spots, not realizing you have picked up a passenger (in the form of a car) is just plain bad driving or a complete lack of experience.
