Is there any chance that i will be able to get insured on a golf mark 4 1.8 turbo either the 150 or 180bhp. I am 20 with 1 NCB, soon to be 2 NCB. Do you think they will insure me or should i wait for my insurance to run out and then try and get insured on it.

I'm 23 but only have 1 Year NCB i pay £900 all mods declared, Thats on Seat ibiza Cupra 1.8T 150bhp with coilovers and oz tubros

My other half insured a cupra 1.8t when he was 20 with 2 years no claims and it cost him £1500. But when he added me on it it dropped to a grand. That was with elephant or admiral.

anyone can insure anything, depends how much you're willing to spend.

You'll struggle to get a good price mate, I've been trying to get insured on a VR, I'm 20 with 2 years NCB and its verrrrry expensive, so I doubt a 1.8T is going to be any less. Saying that I've not had anywhere say they can't insure me, so as said above it depends on what you're willing to pay.
