Due to the combined hub and strut setup on the earlier polos, coilovers basically aren’t cheap like other models. The struts usually require custom machining to shorten the strut, lowering the steering arm to keep the geometry as close to stock as possible. This is the case with the custom Gaz coilovers, but recently TA have introduced their own line without the need for a strut exchange...

I had some input with the setup on these, the new springs were modified so the coilovers will go low out of the box and dampers to suit the new ratings.

They will see a genuine 120mm if your chassis will allow. Just add wheel bearings with hubs and away you go.

I ran these on my turbo mk3 at around a 70mm drop and it was great fun with a much better ride than the spring and shock kits, and much better than previous efforts by TA. The lowered steering arm makes a large difference in fixing the altered geometry from lowering the polo and the result is reduced bump steer.

Full TUV approval and a 2 year warranty.

Can be supplied with adjustable height bump stops (5 stacks of 10mm bump stops) for the front and rear for £20. £10 each if you want just the fronts or rears. (£15 a pair normally)

There is no strut exchange this comes with a complete new manufactured hub and strut!!

Proper lowered dampers and spring rates to suit so they don't bottom out when lowered substantially, steering arms are 40mm lower to correct the angle.

i got mine last week :) backs are on, and the fronts, well I'm having fun with them... had to get new tracking rods, but part from that and gettin bearings pressed in its all going ok, ill put some photos up when ther on :)

No strut exchange at all. Takes about a week to come through.

Thats on its lowest on the rear, and 5mm or so off lowest the front's can go, would settle a touch as well. Full credit to someone who can run a car that low!

i had to take sister springs out but yea boi!

i like bein low its cool, i scrape on them yellow zig-zag lines out side the local school,

but i can live with that :) forgot to get pics of the backs, they go a lot lowwer.

its not that bad reli, its alot better than, lowwering springs, not as hard on your back. its alot better with sister springs in but, you go lowwer without them :).

i did notic today tho that the gear linkage is erm... closer to the floor than i thought it was, thats gona get some scrapes.

It suddenly became a lot more tempting to buy another mk3...
