Final question before I stop banging on and order a set:

Are there any implications for MOT or any (random) inspections DVLA or police might make? I would expect mass-produced ones to be TUV approved or similar, what's the deal with these? (You can probably tell I don't really know what I'm talking about, but hopefully you can see what I'm getting at)

Apologies Ray, missed your post. They are fully TUV approved and have a 2 year warranty, same as the other coilovers. As for police etc, really the TUV will only be approved up to 90mm ish. but I very much doubt (unless of course you have a copper imported from Germany) they'll be able to read that Either way, you shouldn't get any trouble, but if you are leaving sparks while going down the road, just show them the TUV papers...

Could you get a piccy of them fully down on the front ? I was origionally running a 80mm kit with topcaps on the front of my Mk2 and needed around another 20mm of drop .

I really dont want to order a set to find I'm going to have to modify them or just end up going down the airide route .

Just take the helper springs, blue and silver seat, and a coilover adjustor out... It'll be silly low.

In a month or 2, these will be available with shorter springs so you don't have to take the helpers out to achieve the -120mm ride height.

Sound mate iff you can give me a shout when there available wioth the ahorter springs i will get them on order .

Nice... what's the ride like? Weighing up the options for my mk3 but don't want a crappy ride. Really quite tempted by these either way though...

its not that bad reli, its alot better than, lowwering springs, not as hard on your back. its alot better with sister springs in but, you go lowwer without them :).

i did notic today tho that the gear linkage is erm... closer to the floor than i thought it was, thats gona get some scrapes.

but i can live with that :) forgot to get pics of the backs, they go a lot lowwer.

Easy dude, was just wondering if these scrub when cornering and stuff like that? I like to rally my car a lot and just worrying they might not be stiff enough to run that low any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers dude

He means the smaller helper spring by "sister" spring.

I run these on my G40 turbo, and they handle lovely with just the right amount of bodyroll in my opinion. If you find the springs too soft, I can point you in the right direction for some.
