They'd work fine but they are designed for road use really. Depending on how serious you are with your track work, ideally you would be better off with custom valved dampers and stiffer spring rate.

Hi have tried sending you a pm but it keeps failing. Would you be able to supply coilovers for a Passat B2 as they share the same front strut design as I'm aware. would just need higher rated springs to take the weight of the 5 pot

Have sent you a message, and cleared out my inbox. As far as I know, the B2 passat uses early Audi 80 struts, could be wrong...
