Is the manifold blowing? Does the DISA work properly? Very interested but would need to know that these things are OK as these were the problems with my last IS and probably contributed to me not being able to get much more than 18 mpg from it.

the manifold is not blowing as that I'm aware of. and i dont no what a DISA is could you explain to m what it is and ill try awnser it cheers mate

Hi, it's the controller for the variable length inlet manifold. Does it have a vtec like kick at about 4500 rpm or does it just rev the same all the way? Cheers.

alright mate it has a flat spot and then it feels like like a vtec and stays like that in the higher rev range

It really depends how you drive it really I usually have it sitting between 25-50 mpg cruising at 70-80
