You can't find them because they don't come in 5 x 100!

You need to look harder! The best wheels don't come from shops, they come from classifieds on Edition and Wheelwhores!

Compomotive TH monos look a bit like Turbos, come in 5 x 100, and suit 9n is 16's or 17's

I've always thought Monoblock type wheels look sweet on MK6 / MK7's, especially the Merc ones.

You should have a look on ukmkiv's gallery there's lots of options in 5 x 100 and if you find 5 x 112 you like i've a set of 21mm pcd adaptors to fit merc etc wheels to your car.

For the budget buyers! I had them on my old polo gti and had no problems what so ever.......

This time however i had a bigger budget for my new 9n gti so i went fk too and the ride difference is not alot better all the way down :-D

Indy mate, we don't all have money for KWs or whatever it is you've got on your car.

If TAs or APs are all one can afford and they do the job, what's the harm in that?

I've got APs on mine, had no problems, they ride fine for the price, so I'm happy.

You keep putting replies like that and people might form a negative opinion of you...

Yeah there's a point, but there's also a counterpoint. I think 'worst' is the completely wrong word to use for a start.

I think that's what it could be anyway, just the wording of said statement.

I had AP's on my old polo and KW V3's on my current polo, you can feel the difference, but tbh, you could spend the money elsewhere if your car's a daily driver and not used on the track.

Tbh I find it funny that people running really low can comment on ride quality etc. as you're not going to get much movement when you're that low anyways. Plus you can't drive the car properly for fear of ripping off important bits of your motor!

I'll stick to my 16's, slight arch gap and KW V3's set 50/50. But thats just me, I'm sure there's people out there who'd rather look cool than have a car that they can drive enthusiastically.
