got a 1.0 polo and need new tyres all round and the plan is to get a 1.4 next year same shape etc so though i might aswell buy the alloys now put them on this polo saving me money when comes round to buying the car i am planning on getting the 08 plate gti wheels probs replica's though seen a set for 450 with budget tyres on seems a good price.

Any bigger than 16's surely cant look well...

Don't forget it's got a bodykit on it though.

In my opinion 16's are as big as you should go on a 6N2, and only if you've lowered it.

If you just want the BIGGEST rims 165/35-18 is the way!! :D

yeh thats the only thing i haven't got skirts on my car and dont plan on getting any for this one now its only a 1.0e planning on getting a 1.4 tdi and getting the ecu re mapped been told you can get it from 75bhp to 120bhp with still goodfuel consumption thats when i am going to get skirts rear bumper front bumper back spoiler blacked out windows k&n and new exhaust and recaro seats.

but for now its a basic 1.0e and can see it looking stupid

You get 100bhp from remap on 1.4 tdi. And why must it bee "sky high" without skirts? the 17s are not bigger than 15s with 195/45-15...
