back messing in the engine bay today. began scrubbing the wax and dirt off..removed the airbox and washer bottle and scrubbed under those. removed my rad cowling and sprayed it black. then sprayed the washer bottle and my manifold black. came out pretty well if i may say so myself. :) have an idea on a colour scheme, which i cant wait to try and have more bits arriving next week. things are finally taking shape. :)

Cheers dude. do it! I'm thinking with the blue/black thing I've got going on, it'll work pretty well as the caps are blue :)

should look very well in those colours alright. :) was thinking of doing kawasaki green on some bits in mine, caps, alternator bracket,my new intake mani,gt badge etc,but not sure if thats too much..i'd like to do pink or orange bits usually but i think green would work best with the red? i dunno, shall be experimenting over the next few days anyway. ;)

replacing the bottom balljoint arms today..decided to trial fit a cleaned up mahle for fun,and they don't clear the front brakes! :( gutted..i'm guessing the vw2 calipers are the problem,as it seems the carrier makes the wheel not sit flush with the hub..sickened..will spacers solve this? was really hoping not to have to run them. :(
