ah,that makes sense alright. nice gt you have dude. looks tidy. :)

I bought it in 2006 I think with 63000 on the clock. Fitted late spec rears, Phil j lowering kit, grill and the bbs Ra's. Loved the car. Never let me down. put a clutch and new fuel tank on it too. Will post some more pics. Also bought the fogs brand new. nottingham vw said they were the last available set from vw. Not sure if that's true!i

It should do mate yeah.

You may still have problems with the wheel not clearing the caliper.

But, it shouldn't take anything more than a 5mm spacer really. 10mm at most. Or, what some people do is grind some material off the caliper.

Changing the carriers alone might solve the problem though :)

Right so yesterdays show in Fermoy Co.Cork, advice from a few lads and a spin in a certain car,has spurred me to get cracking into this conversion. :)

Not aiming to have the car off the road for too long.

Plans for engine are:

Fresh seals/gaskets

Charger rebuild

sns chip

Toothed pullies

Better exhaust

Good induction kit

Braces to cope with the new power

Polybushes

Tidy up the outside and its good to hit the road again..hopefully. :p

I've tons of other small plans for it,but we'l see how this progresses first.

Thanks for looking. ;)
